Brandi passante gained fame after she appeared in A&E's 'Storage wars', a reality series that featured Jarrod Schulz. Both of them gained mainstream recognition through this show. In this reality show, contents from storage lockers where rent is not paid after three months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California took part in this show hoping to get affordable storage units. The couple had no idea that the show could make reality stars out of them! Over the course of the show they proved to be very tactful bidders and emerged as among the top performers on the show. The success of the reality show helped boost their businesses and they were able to open another shop in addition to the one they already ran. The success of their 'Storage War' appearance resulted in a spinoff show called 'Brandi and Jarrod The Marriage of a Job,' which focused exclusively on the couple.
