Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay was born on August 24 1972 on the 24th of August 1972 in Long Beach California. DuVernay learned to love art through the aunt Denise. Aunt Denise worked as an overnight nursing assistant so that she could have the opportunity to study art theatre or literature. DuVernay was captivated by the 1961 film West Side Story after her aunt introduced her to DuVernay. DuVernay learned that art can be a powerful vehicle for activism. Similar to DuVernay's mom, she was conscious of her social status and influenced that she could express her thoughts through the arts. DuVernay was raised together with her parents in Compton and spent her summers at Lowndes County Alabama in the residence of her father's parents. DuVernay's Dad recalled seeing the Civil Rights Movement's historic march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge near the town of Selma Alabama. Her summers in Alabama's Selma inspire her later to make an animated film on Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. DuVernay obtained her Saint Joseph High School diploma in Lakewood California. DuVernay enrolled at the University of California Los Angeles after graduating, where she received degrees in English and African American Studies. DuVernay began producing in broadcast journalism when she was still at university. She started as an intern with CBS News, during the O.J. Simpson Trial. DuVernay recalled being given the task of watching the home and looking through the garbage from one of the juries. DuVernay was dissatisfied with her journalism tasks and decided to change to the world of public relations. DuVernay was employed by a tiny studio as a junior publicist right after college. She started The DuVernay Agency, her PR firm, in 1999. Her agency launched numerous promotions and lifestyle channels, including Urban Beauty Collective and Urban Eye. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Autumn Riley was born under the name of. She is an actress popularly known for American Experience (1987) and A More Perfect Union (2009). Autumn played Rose from A More Perfect Union as well as Anna Payne from American Experience.
