Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha first came out to be transgender during high school. Sasha did manage to get through the difficult times with his music, and with the help of her family. Jim and Sasha are both songwriters. They have been performing at local venues as well as open mics elsewhere. Although The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he as well as Jim discussed their journey to where they are today in an introductory clip played before the show. Sasha began playing the guitar at the age of six. The pair spoke about their tastes in music and told stories of the first time they met. It was the fact that his father was a music teacher helped Sasha to learn the craft. Sasha was a victim of identity problems as a boy, even although he was a female. In an earlier post on Facebook, the 11-year old man shared his thoughts and opened up about the challenges he faced. Jim was overwhelmed with emotion when he spoke of his reasons for not being capable of helping in these tough circumstances. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, was born a girl. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, is expected to turn 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen began his transition to masculinity in the first year of high school. Sasha said on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to be featured on the show and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals in such a broad platform."
